If you are new to the community, have moved within the Township, or have become newly eligible to vote, you may register at the Township Clerk's Office, 1463 S. Farrell Road, Room 102, Lockport, IL, 60441.

Registration is open throughout the year except during the 27 days preceding an election. 

The last day to register to vote at the Township Clerk's Office for November 6, 2018 election- October 9, 2018



Inividuals who were unable to register to vote before October 9, 2018, may now register and vote at their polling place on election day, please refer to


Grace Period Voting is for individuals who were unable to register to vote or change their address prior to the close of registration. Grace Period begins October 10, 2018 at the Will County Clerk's Office ONLY.

* You must be an Illinois State Citizen
* Bring two forms of identification, one showing your full legal name and current address
* You must be at least 18 years old by the next election (17 year olds can register as long as his/her birthday is on or before the next election date).
* You must have lived in the voting precinct for 30 days by Election Day

Once registered a Voter's ID card will be sent to your home address directly from the Will County Clerk's Office. The card will list your current polling location. You may contact the Will County Clerk's Office at (815) 740-4632 if you have any questions.
